Soulful Abundance Thanksgiving Potluck
A Celebration of Food, Family, Culture & Connection
Thursday, November 26, 2026 | Unity of the Triangle Fellowship Hall
For decades, Unity of the Triangle has brought people together on Thanksgiving to share food, friendship, and gratitude. This year, we’re giving that beloved tradition a new name and an even bigger purpose: Soulful Abundance!
Thanksgiving is about more than what’s on our plates. It’s about the people around our tables, the traditions we share, and the connections we create. This year, we’re celebrating the wonderful diversity of our spiritual community with a multicultural Thanksgiving feast featuring traditional holiday favorites, Southern soul food, international specialties, and treasured family recipes.
Whether you’ve been part of Unity for decades or are joining us for the first time, there’s a place for you at our table. Invite your family, friends, and neighbors, especially someone who could use a little more community and connection this Thanksgiving.
Soulful Abundance Thanksgiving With Community, Celebration & Gratitude
2:00 PM | Appetizers & Fellowship Come early, enjoy appetizers, reconnect with old friends, and make some new ones. Visit our Gratitude Wall and share what you’re grateful for. You might just inspire someone else!
3:00 PM | Soulful Abundance Thanksgiving Dinner Gather around our tables for a wonderful Thanksgiving feast celebrating the foods, flavors, and traditions that make our community special.
4:30 PM | Music & Entertainment The celebration continues with desserts, music, a community sing along, karaoke, and plenty of opportunities to laugh, share stories, and enjoy one another’s company.
What Should I Bring?
Bring something you love, and bring enough to share! We welcome traditional Thanksgiving dishes, Southern favorites, international specialties, family recipes, desserts and everything in between. Whether it’s Grandma’s famous casserole, a dish representing your heritage, or something delicious from your favorite bakery, we’d love to share it.
The church will provide the turkeys, coffee, tea, and lemonade. BYOB. Please consider bringing an appetizer, side dish, salad, bread, or dessert. If your dish has a special family story, cultural tradition, or meaningful memory behind it, we’d love to hear about that, too!
While it’s not required, it will help us coordinate the dinner if you let us know if you are attending and what you will be bringing by sending an email to unitypotluck@gmail.com.
Please label your dish with its name, ingredients, and any relevant dietary information, including gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, vegan, or common allergens. We’ll have food identification cards available.
And remember, everyone is welcome, whether or not you’re able to bring food. Our abundance comes from sharing, not from what anyone contributes.
Want to be in service to your fellow Unity members? Volunteer for the Turkey Team!
Our Thanksgiving celebration is made possible by volunteers who share their time, talents, and enthusiasm. We’re looking for a few good turkeys to help make the day a wonderful experience for everyone!
Kitchen Team: Help organize incoming dishes, coordinate food preparation and serving, and keep everything running smoothly.
Front of House & Buffet Team: Help arrange the buffet, organize serving areas, replenish dishes, and keep our dining space welcoming.
Greeters: Welcome guests, help newcomers feel at home, and make sure everyone knows where to go and how to participate.
Cleanup Crew: Help restore the fellowship hall after our celebration so everyone can head home with wonderful memories.
We’ll also need help with Wednesday afternoon setup, decorations, and our Gratitude Wall.
Whether you have an hour to give or want to help throughout the celebration, there’s a place for you on the Turkey Team. It’s a wonderful opportunity to serve, connect, and make new friends.
If you can volunteer, please let us know by telling Randy Summerford, Kelli Nestor, or emailing us at unitypotluck@gmail.com
For decades, Unity has hosted a Thanksgiving Potluck, creating a special holiday tradition for our church family and guests. This year, we celebrate unity in our community and gratitude for each other. We know where we are gathered, there is a powerful vibration created that is generating love and belonging all around us.
We are a spiritual community awakening to our Divine nature through love, service and personal transformation.
